It’s always a good day to be a golfer in Las Vegas, with over 300 days of sun and over a hundred affordable courses to choose from. Temperatures range from 58 to 100 degrees allowing any player to enjoy the scenery of the area, and more importantly, great golfing opportunities.
On the high end of the price scale we have the Reflections Bay golf club. Greens fees ranging from $120 to $295, this Jack Nicklaus Signature Course was rated by Golf Digest as one of the Top 100 Best Courses You Can Play. Debuting in 1998, the 7,261 golf course was designed with many of its holes running along 10-miles of a 320-acre lake.
The Bali Hai Golf Club, with prices ranging upwards to $250, opened in 2000 and sports incredible elements that are often described by stunned golfers as breathtaking. The course designed by Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt is a playable par 71 layout with 7,002 yards of luxury and spectacular views.
The slightly less indulgent, and slightly more conservative golfer may find the Jay Morris-designed Painted Desert Golf Club more to their liking. Green fees range from $69 to $149, and one of the first courses to open in Las Vegas. Itsmodest 6,781 yards allow most any golfer to enjoy this playable desert course.
The Desert Pines Golf Club designed by Dye Designs International offers 6,810 yards of beauty and grace. Every fairway on the course is shaded by pine trees and water comes into play on half the holes on the course. With greens fees ranging from $35 to $160 this is a great buy for a great course.
Green fees range from $55 to $95 at the USGA Links-qualified Black Mountain Golf and Country Club, designed by Bob Baldock and Gill and Associates. Its 6,550, tree-lined fairways feature 27 holes and a wide range of difficulties, with Bermuda rough and old-fashioned greens making up for its smaller size.
Finally comes the self-proclaimed most comprehensive golf experience in the world. Arnold Palmer’s Angel Park Golf Club is viewed by manyas the best golf course in Las Vegas. Since 1989, they’ve offered 36 holes, nine of which are lighted, and natural grass, all for $65 to $160.
There is a golf course for every golfer, for every degree of difficulty and every price range. Las Vegas has it all and provides great whether to enjoy these beautiful golf courses year round. Each golf course would not disappoint and could easily qualify as “one of the best golf destinations in Las Vegas”.
