Malindi town is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the coast of East Africa. Situated 120km north of Mombasa, Malindi has a 155km coastline dotted with beautiful tropical beaches that provide a nice panoramic view of the Indian Ocean. Tall palm trees tower at the edges of the extensive Malindi beaches, swaying tirelessly in the tropical breeze as if to depict the unending holiday fun activities available to you in this Kenya coastal town.
Malindi town was founded by Arab traders in the 13th Century as their main trade centre along the Indian Ocean. At that time the economy depended on fishing, hunting, agriculture and salt collection. By 1498 when Vasco da Gama reached Malindi, the town had already become both a kingdom and a wealthy town. The then inhabitants of the town comprised Arabs - the ruling class, Africans and a few Indians. And because of the region’s monsoon winds, Malindi became an important port in East Africa as it formed the base from which places all over the Indian Ocean could be reached.
The Portuguese finished the construction of Fort Jesus in Mombasa in 1593. From that time, Mombasa overtook Malindi in splendor and importance. Several traditional buildings of that era still exist in Malindi and are among the town’s tourist attractions. These include a mosque and a palace constructed right on the beach.
Malindi’s tropical beaches and waters, together with the Watamu and Malindi Marine Parks are the area’s main tourist attractions. The national marine parks were the first of their kind to be established in Africa, in 1968, and are a haven for divers and snorkelers. The coral gardens in the marine parks host plenty of multi-colored fishes that you can easily see in these coral kingdoms.
Gede ruins are yet another major tourist attraction in Malindi. The ruins are the remains of an abandoned 17th century small town. Since being declared a historic monument in 1927, a lot of excavation work in Gede ruins has been done, revealing a palace, ancient pillar tombs, and a great mosque.
Marafa depression, an extensive area northwest of Malindi, has a unique landscape made up of series of sandstone gorges and large gullies. There are several local myths about this area, which is also popularly known as Hell’s kitchen, or Nyari by the local community.
Malindi has earned a reputation as a gourmet’s haven, with the restaurants, coffeehouses, and hotels in Malindi providing a wide array of local and international cuisine. The town’s residents include the local Swahili people, plus a considerable number of investors of Italian descent. Together, the residents have ensured that Malindi remains one of the most welcoming and most friendly tourist destinations in the world. More than 50% of the Malindi population relies on tourism either directly or indirectly.
Weather at the East African Coast is generally hot and humid all the year round. In Malindi, the long rains fall from April to July, while October to November is the short rains season. Daily average temperatures range between 22 degrees and 30.5 degrees Celsius. For a tourist, the best time to go to Malindi is from December to April.
Getting to Malindi is quite easy both by road and air. Although some visitors fly directly to Malindi, the main gateway to the north coast is Mombasa. Malindi airport has daily scheduled flights to Mombasa, Nairobi and Lamu and it also serves Private Charters. There are regular buses and matatus along the North coast and most hotels and resorts in this area can arrange vehicle transfers.

When it comes to food, I am no gourmet expert. I do however know what I like. Now there are many foods that I love and really like but when it comes down to it one of my Favorite foods has to be Hamburgers!
Now I have been all over and while I have been to some really great Burger Joints in Upstate NY and a few other states, I have spent allot of my life on Long Island in New York. There are many great places to eat here on Long Island but when it comes to Hamburgers I have two favorite places.
The first is “All American Hamburger Drive” in 4286 Merrick Rd Massapequa, NY 11758 this place has been around as long as I can remember. As a kid growing up every trip home from Jones Beach always ended with a stop at this old fashion Burger Joint. Their is always a line outside of All American but the wait is worth it. They have two Burgers I love Their Quarter pounder with Cheese and their Double Double which is a double Burger with double cheese. I have been trying to figure out which one I like better for years. I have had fun trying but have not figured it out yet, If I ever Figure it out I will let you all know ! All American also has some of the best Fries, Onion Rings, Knishes and Milk Shakes I have ever had!
Now where All American Hamburger Drive In sells a fast food style Burger and I love them, There is also another Style Burger which I love too and that is the Bar Burger! Their are many really great places on Long Island that sell some really Great Bar Burgers but as the old saying goes when it comes to the best “their can be only one”!
My Favorite Long Island Bar Burger I have had so far has got to be from the “Triangle Pub” 381 Old Montauk Hwy Eastport, NY 11941 I have been to this place a bunch of times over the years and their Burgers are always Great! Now I can only speak about their large Burgers (Never got one of the small ones). The Triangle Pub is known by many across Long Island for its Giant Burgers and Giant Glasses of Ice Cold Beer! There is not much to say about the place as I have never had anything there beside the Beer and large Burger meal. The people are friendly, The service is good, The Location is Nice and the Giant Burger and Beer Combo with French fries or onion rings is incredible. I love stopping by either for dinner or lunch !
Like I said before I am not a food expert I just know what I like. I have not eaten every where on Long Island so if you know of a place that you think serves better Burgers then the two I have just told you about then let me know what they are called and where they are located and I will be there!
I also really Like Chicken Wings!!! L.J. James www.americanbikerx.com

It’s always a good day to be a golfer in Las Vegas, with over 300 days of sun and over a hundred affordable courses to choose from. Temperatures range from 58 to 100 degrees allowing any player to enjoy the scenery of the area, and more importantly, great golfing opportunities.
On the high end of the price scale we have the Reflections Bay golf club. Greens fees ranging from $120 to $295, this Jack Nicklaus Signature Course was rated by Golf Digest as one of the Top 100 Best Courses You Can Play. Debuting in 1998, the 7,261 golf course was designed with many of its holes running along 10-miles of a 320-acre lake.
The Bali Hai Golf Club, with prices ranging upwards to $250, opened in 2000 and sports incredible elements that are often described by stunned golfers as breathtaking. The course designed by Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt is a playable par 71 layout with 7,002 yards of luxury and spectacular views.
The slightly less indulgent, and slightly more conservative golfer may find the Jay Morris-designed Painted Desert Golf Club more to their liking. Green fees range from $69 to $149, and one of the first courses to open in Las Vegas. Itsmodest 6,781 yards allow most any golfer to enjoy this playable desert course.
The Desert Pines Golf Club designed by Dye Designs International offers 6,810 yards of beauty and grace. Every fairway on the course is shaded by pine trees and water comes into play on half the holes on the course. With greens fees ranging from $35 to $160 this is a great buy for a great course.
Green fees range from $55 to $95 at the USGA Links-qualified Black Mountain Golf and Country Club, designed by Bob Baldock and Gill and Associates. Its 6,550, tree-lined fairways feature 27 holes and a wide range of difficulties, with Bermuda rough and old-fashioned greens making up for its smaller size.
Finally comes the self-proclaimed most comprehensive golf experience in the world. Arnold Palmer’s Angel Park Golf Club is viewed by manyas the best golf course in Las Vegas. Since 1989, they’ve offered 36 holes, nine of which are lighted, and natural grass, all for $65 to $160.
There is a golf course for every golfer, for every degree of difficulty and every price range. Las Vegas has it all and provides great whether to enjoy these beautiful golf courses year round. Each golf course would not disappoint and could easily qualify as “one of the best golf destinations in Las Vegas”.

Mexican Train Dominos is a great game that we’ve recently been introduced to, but we found the rules in the game we bought to be a little confusing.
So I have decided to share our dominos rules of Mexican Train since it is simpler for our youngsters to learn.
The Mexican Train Dominos start at double 12’s. You can also purchase these dominos with actual numbers on them to replace the dots. This might work better if you have a young counter as you will see later on, they will need to be able to count the dots in their remaining tiles. To start - each person takes a set number of tiles (determined by the number of players) and the person who has the highest set of doubles starting with 12 begins. The next round starts with the next lower doubles. The play goes clockwise with each person starting their leg - looks like a spider - with the same number as the double or picking one tile which they can play if it is a playable. From there you play on your leg each turn with a couple of exceptions.
1st - You can play on another person’s leg if after they have picked, they cannot. You know it is open to play on because they must place a plastic train - which comes in the set - on their leg when they can’t play. Then when they are able to play on their leg again, they can remove the train. We like to use M&Ms as the train marker, then eat them when you get to remove it!
2nd - You can start a Mexican train. You do this by using a tile that has the same number as the doubles you started with and starting a leg separate from the main game. Only one person can start a train per round but anyone can play on it at anytime.
There are a few other things to mention. If someone plays a doubles tile during the round, it must be satisfied before anyone can continue playing. This is accomplished by the person who played the double first, who must play another tile on the double. If they can’t it is up to the person whose turn is next, and they must pick if they can’t play a tile out of their pile. Once someone can satisfy it, play continues as normal. Another thing to note - sometimes it takes several picks to get started. However, this all works out in the end because you do play several rounds for a complete game.
The object of each round is to be the first to get rid of all your tiles. All other players add the total dots (or numbers) on the tiles they have left. You use this number for their score. Adding the score for each round, the winner is the person at the end who has the lowest points.
Mexican Train Dominos. Easy dominos rules and a fun family game! Great for family Christmas gifts!

Will the visitor do all that is asked of them? Have they heard about vacation home exchange? It seems to be a terrific way to not only make sure that your house doesn’t fall prey to felons while away, but it ensures that each of the vacationing parties save some cash. As of now, there are some vacation home exchanges in many exotic places. There are also some in very quiet retreats. Numerous vacationers and business people tour the world in vacation home exchanges. They report that they are happy with the experience. Some exchange and make their own arrangements on a casual basis through family or friends. However, there are others who use the services of a bureau.
Home exchanges developed in the 1950s, but did not really become popular until the 1970s. Families can save about $5,000 US in a home exchange. That put beside the reservation for a hotel room or suite can be a saving of in excess of several hundred dollars a day.
Not all travelers are interested vacation home exchanges solely to save money. Some seek the exchanges so they meet the locals, and a chance to explore the local culture and relatively un-touristic regions of the destination. The Internet has made the job of locating a vacation exchange home significantly easier due to the large number of Internet addresses devoted to this kind of tourism activity.
In the state of California for instance there is a company called simply Vacation Home Exchange. This business specializes in putting together the names of those who register an interest in this kind of tourism. Likely holidaymakers do an exchange for a home on the other side of the world. Of course, the registrant has destination of interest. There are holidaymakers in different destinations looking for a chance at an exchange.
Agreeably it is usually much easier to do a tremendous vacation home exchange should you live in a popular vacation destination. There are properties wherever you live or where you want to be. Numerous individuals on holiday or business experience great adventures, using exchange dwellings. It’s certainly better and often more productive than staying in impersonal hotels.\
A Vacation Home Exchange Service Provides Great Help
A vacation home exchange is a great way to see the world and save some money. The price of hotels and other accommodations are usually the biggest costs borne by vacationers. Having a vacation home exchange the vacationer can save a lot of cash. If you can throw in the use of your car in exchange for a car at your destination, the savings could be fantastic. Usually in this type of exchange, you get a different view of a place. Most travelers see the business parts of the city, but with a home exchange, you get to see a typical neighborhood.

Very few people, unless they live in an domain where they are beach bound all of the time and it is function of the “uniform,” are cosy picking out a bathing suit of clothes for summer, much less wearing upon one. In an effort to demystify the process and to help you find the style that will enhance your body, here are a a few pointers.
Let’s face it. A bathing suit of clothes doesn’t cover much (some less than others) so we can’t veil behind layers of fabric or can we?
3 Don’ts For Just About Everyone:
Boy Short Pants or Boy Branches
Train tie halter brilliant
The big poofy skirted fits
String Up halter-tops fall into that class as well. Unless you have very dashing breasts and not very extended ones at that, the string hemp is a no-no. That would be followed by the poofy (yes, that is a made-up word) skirts. Many older somebodies will buy them out of modesty, as will larger women. Please don’t. There are other ways to get over up that won’t make you look like a beached whale.
When shopping for a bathing suit, go to a storehouse that has the tops and bottoms separately if you are buying a two-piece. Many of us are not the same size in both places and a swim suit wants to fit properly.
Speaking of two-pieces, who should be hard what style? Say “no” to the two bits if there is flab where there shouldn’t be. OK here we go! Have on to your swim suit!
Simple Principles to Choose a Swim Suit:
1.Prefer a color and print that is becoming to your skin note and body type.
2.To enhance small breasts, use a mark on top with a top that ties behind the neck.
3.To minimise large breasts, use a tank style top but use caution. Avoid the uni-breast feel.
4.Little the hips by not having the suit bottom rest on the area you want to minimize.
5.Long torsos will look easier in a one piece. Try a tankini with a smaller shin showing in the central to edit out your body.
6.Hide Out a stomach with a one-piece that has a little gathering at the midway (a bit needless fabric).
7.No waist? Make one with a one piece that is cut out at the sides or that has a sash or belt.
For accessories:
Flip flops or sandals with a small heel or heaviness will make you look less heavy as you walk.
Put On a sarong or skirt to cover up your legs if you want modestness or are trying to conceal your thighs when not in the water. Pick Out a print or color that is flattering and tie it in a location that does not stress a bad region.
A cotton gauze or all cover up is great for getting from place to place but think that the sun will go through it. Put On sun stop at all times.
Go to a specialty store and try on different patterns and styles until you get one that is right for you.

You’ve finally realized your lifelong dream of owning a boat. All of that hard work has finally paid off, and you are now a boat owner. Now, you need to take special care to ensure that your dream boat doesn’t become your worst nightmare.
Once you’ve satisfied the dream of owning a boat, why risk your happiness and hard-earned dollars by leaving its future to chance? Boats are very expensive, and you can’t just go out and buy a new one every few months.
That’s why it’s so important to take every precaution to ensure a long life for your boat. Provide the best maintenance today, and give it ongoing protection against all of nature’s elements.
The perfect solution for protection today, and in the future, is a custom boat cover. Just because your boat was built to be in the water, doesn’t mean it can withstand daily exposure to rain, snow and ice. Even direct sunlight can be damaging. With a custom cover, your boat will have all-season protection from the elements.
You’ll find several companies that manufacture customized covers. “Customized” is not entirely accurate, because mass-produced covers are created to fit particular boat models. They are not created for each individual boat. These covers will, however, provide a custom fit and all-season protection for your craft. Your local marina or boat retailer should have custom cover options available for your boat model.
Custom boat covers protect more than the hull of the boat. They are made to blanket the motor, masts and any accessories as well. In order to ensure a perfect fit, you may need to have the cover tailored specifically for your boat. This way, the cover will fit snugly and offer the best level of protection.
Boat covers are made from a variety of materials. Canvas, nylon, polyester and waver polyester are all good options to provide dependable protection and endurance. The cover you choose should be waterproof, dustproof and flexible.
The material must provide ample air circulation, because any moisture that accumulates under the cover can quickly turn into rust or mildew, causing irreparable damage. The surfaces of your boat need to “breathe”, even while covered. Consider a custom boat cover made of a 50/50 polyester blend. This light, waterproof fabric provides air circulation while blocking the sun’s harmful UV rays.
Extra precautions must be taken, even after choosing the best custom boat cover made of the highest-quality material. Once your boat is covered, you’ll need to seal the seams and close any gaps using waterproof tape. Areas commonly affected by rot or rust need extra attention. Taping the seams of the cover and closing any gaps will provide the added protection essential to your boat’s long and happy life.
You can’t afford to throw away your hard-earned money. That’s why it’s so important to keep your boat in good condition for years to come, with a custom boat cover.

Sony has sure had a winner with the PSP! It’s quickly become the number one selling portable gaming system and keeps picking up new fans each day. We have been getting a number of emails from people wondering where they can find free PSP downloads so we thought we would put together a quick article outlining your options.
More and more people are using PSP game downloads instead of buying PSP games at the stores. It’s a lot cheaper to download PSP games and you don’t even have to leave the house! You just have to fire up your computer anytime you feel like trying a new game.
Let’s not waste any time! I’m going to list your three options to find free PSP downloads:
Option #1 - Free PSP Game Downloads
Many people will head over to Google and punch in “free PSP downloads” hoping to find something they can use.
Does this actually work?
Well…..kinda. You can find a few websites that advertise having “free PSP downloads” and then ask you to install some software to be able to use them. However you need to know a couple of things before you click that download button.
First, these sites are famous for having all sorts of viruses. Many of the files aren’t a PSP file at all - they’re just a virus or type spyware that will cause problems on your computer. There’s no one monitoring these websites so you can never know exactly what you are getting.
One of our biggest beefs with these sites is that the download speeds are insanely slow. Since there isn’t any money being invested in the websites so the downloads can seem to take forever.
Unfortunately many of the files that are on these sites don’t even end up working. There are many “corrupt” files out there which means they won’t do a darn thing when you put them on your PSP.
As you can probably imagine we aren’t going to recommend these websites. They put your computer at risk and can waste a lot of your time as well.
Option #2 - Finding Free PSP Downloads
This next option is a lot safer and more reliable than the first.
As people saw that there was a demand for PSP downloads, a handful of entrepreneurs built PSP download websites that offer PSP downloads when you sign up for a membership. As you can probably, they charge a fee - it’s about $30 a month and this gives you access to unlimited downloads.
We aren’t going to talk much about this option because the next one is a whole lot cheaper and will give you access to the exact same type of PSP downloads.
Option #3 - How To Find PSP Downloads
This final option is the choice we recommend to all PSP owners that are hoping to use PSP game downloads on their system.
You can find PSP download websites that offer memberships like the second option, but they only charge a one-time membership fee. Instead of being billed each and every month, you only have to pay the one time. This ‘lifetime’ membership gives you full access to unlimited PSP game downloads.
The membership isn’t expensive ($35-$45) and this includes all the software you need to transfer the files onto your PSP.
We included a link at the end of this article so you can learn how to start a free trial at a couple of the top-ranked PSP download websites. The setup should take you in around 5-10 minutes.
Since the companies that are behind these websites are trying to make a profit, they do what it takes to make sure that their customers are happy. This means the downloads are fast, you can find the newest and most popular games and all of the files work and are virus-free.
As more and more people start download PSP games we can only imagine that game sales will drop quite drastically at the stores. Using PSP game downloads is a far cheaper and more convenient way of keeping your PSP stocked with all the games and movies you want. Enjoy!
